Dr. Taylor B. Pope, DMD
Dentist
A native of Washington, NC, Dr. Pope graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science. She worked as a dental assistant for a year and a half with a mobile dental clinic, aiding in providing dental care to children in rural areas. In 2015 Dr. Pope entered East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in June of 2019. She is the daughter of Crowell and Brenda Pope of Washington. In addition to her love of dentistry, Dr. Pope enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as boating on the river.
Jessica Creel
Office Manager
Jessica joined our team in August 2019 as a dental assistant and front desk receptionist. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Wayne Community College in 2015 and quickly became a valued member of our practice through her dedication, organization, and commitment to exceptional patient care. In 2026, Jessica stepped into the role of Office Manager, where she oversees the daily operations of the practice while continuing to ensure our patients receive the friendly, personalized experience our office is known for. Her knowledge of both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry makes her an invaluable resource for our team and our patients. An Ayden native, Jessica is proud to call this community home and is grateful to be raising her two boys here with her husband. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, gardening, cooking, and shopping.
Latora Harper
Dental Assistant
Latora is a native of Winterville, NC. She graduated from Pitt Community College, earning an Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems and networking. However, after discovering a love for dentistry, Latora decided to attend Miller-Motte College and graduated magna cum laude, obtaining an Associates Degree in Dental Assistance. She has thoroughly enjoyed working as a dental assistant since 2010. Care and compassion come easily for Latora, and she strives hard to make each encounter with her patients a pleasant experience. In her spare time, Latora enjoys creating memories with her son, Brycen. She is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, as well as an ECU football fan. She loves crockpot recipes, traveling, trips to the beach, music festivals, karaoke, dancing, wine tasting, and spending time with family and friends.
Vicky Tripp
Dental Assistant
An Ayden native, Vicky graduated dental assisting school in 2011. Since graduating, Vicky has worked in various positions in dental offices, from the front desk to chair side. Joining our team in 2022, she is excited to be working in her home town making smiles brighter! When not working she enjoys time with her son Christopher and her family.
Jennifer Quick
Dental Hygienist
Jennifer has been with our team since 2005. She is a graduate of Wayne Community College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is originally from Grifton, and now resided in Simpson with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family at Lake Gaston.
Michelle Severini
Dental Hygienist
Michelle joined our team in August 2025. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene form Halifax Community College. Throughout her career, Michelle developed experience in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and periodontics. She is passionate about preventative care and patient education in a welcoming environment. Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her four children and her fur babies (Russian Maine Coons and Miniature Schnauzer). She also loves gardening, home improvement projects and cooking!
